A Sample Abstract on The Effect of Spirulina as an Additive Food Supplement on the Growth and Taste of 45-Day Chicken

Poultry is now a common business for everyone. any housewives are inclined in this business. Many poultry owners got a problem on the kind of food that they need to use. They also had a problem regarding the kind of vitamins and supplements they will use in their animals. In relation with this, a study was conducted to help the poultry owners to solve their problem.

Twenty five chicks were gathered and fed in each trial. In their first week, they ware fed with the starter fees. After that, the initial weight were gathered before feeding them with the spirulina. Three trials were made. The chicks were given equal amount of chicken grower feeds. The chicks were separated into five groups with five chickens in each group. The chicken in Group A is the controlled group while the chickens in the remaining four groups are fed with ground spirulina. Two and a half tablets were given to Group B, five tablets to Group C, seven and a half tablets for Group D and ten tablets in Group E. The mass of each chicken was gathered during the first week up to the third week. The mean was computed for each chicken.

Comparing the data gathered from the controlled and the experimental group, it is revealed that spirulina can be an addtive or a food supplement on forty five day broiler chicken.
